Told she ivould be evacuated from Malta with her four-months-old son, a young mother, wife of a staff sergeant, was set a problem. She was allowed to take only as much luggage as she could carry, and with this end in vieiv used a suitcase, in which slots were cut, for baby and his clothes, leaving her other,hand free to carry a suitcase containing her own clothes.
