140,000 industry professional attended the CEA (Consumers Electronics Association) Conference in early 2011. They emitted a cacophony of 158,000 tweets of excitement as future trends, final curtain calls, predictions and proclamations were offered by analysts, tech soothsayers, CEO’s and creative wunderkind. After the computer, the trends were all about tablets, superphones, speed and Internet enabled everything.   • Modems: 4G, LTE capable devices offer next generation mobility

  • Tablets: Cisco, Cius, Blackberry and Playbook vie for market share using Google’s ‘Honeycombs’ and sales are predicted to triple.

  • Smartphones: Google’s Android leads the way with dual core phones that will have full VCR and gaming options.

  • Notebooks: sharper,faster,lightweight using new Intel ‘Sandy Bridge’core processors

  • Wireless printers:fast,flexible,high res and cheap

  • Data Securitys:secure storage of large chunks of data

  • Windows 8 on the way……

  • Glasses free 3D tablets
