Most of the rest are photographs of on deck sports and other recreational activities.

Scattered throughout this collection are photographs of King George V and party attending sport events at Twickenham. These were the climax of a series of rugby games played between various army teams, the two winning teams being the New Zealanders and the British. They then played each other for the King's Cup at Twickenham which the New Zealand Army team captained by John Ryan, won. This team then went on to play a French Army team, also at Twickenham, on 19 March 1919.
