Shows a number of artifacts from Fiji, Samoa and New Caledonia including musical pipes, decorated weapon sheaths, and other handheld objects. Beside one is the note "Resembling Lictor's fasces", and another has the note "H.M.S. Bramble" alongside it (Angas is not known to have travelled on the HMS Bramble).
Navigator Island / Navigators Islands is another name for the Samoan Islands. They were named Navigators Islands by Louis de Bougainville, in 1768.
