- Description
Shows an arrangement of labelled flowers with sprigs of their foliage: NZ Edelweiss, Mountain lily, Harakeke - NZ flax, Titoki, Celmisia or mountain daisy, Kowhai, Karaka berries, Pohutukawa, NZ fuchsia, Clematis, Red kowhai - kaka beak, Manuka - white and red. Brown background.
Another version also held, with purple background. Also accompanied by a folder of 11 sheets of different block prints, illustrating progressive colour separations in the printing process.
Date may be closer to 1952; see similar style, also with colour separation sheets, for Howard Mallitte's "Birds of New Zealand", 1952 posters.
