Description

Papers connected with the ordering, purchase and freighting to New Zealand of a processional cross commissioned by the Seddon family in memory of Louisa Jane Seddon and presented to St Paul's Church in 1932. Includes samples of F Osborne's ecclesiastical art metal work, catalogue of ecclesiastical silver & metal work (company unknown) and church plate and metal work (company unknown), quotations from Burns Oates & Washbourne Ltd and E Whiteway & Co Ltd of London. Also part of a letter to Owen Cox, Sydney, mentioning Rev Sprot(t) and Mr Barraud re the R J Seddon Memorial Pulpit in Old St Paul's (2 May 1907).
