The front cover shows a portrait of the battleship HMS "New Zealand" in an oval inset, flanked by the New Zealand and British flags, English oak sprigs and New Zealand native berries and leaves. The back cover shows a Union Jack, with inspirational text. Inside are facts about the ship, figures to remember, and an invitation to join the Navy League in order to preserve the British Empire which stands for freedom, justice and righteousness.
The battleship "New Zealand" was given to Britain by the New Zealand Government.
