Extended Title - "'ats orf to them Springboks! - They can play footy orright. Course our chaps can too - our chaps can play corker footy when they're trainin'. - But they can't do nothin' when they're playin' Springboks. (I never thought when I grew up I'd still be playing chasing). - Owin' to the great Springbok monopolisation of the ball. (What's the point in you trying to get it? - You couldn't do anything with it). I s'pose reely what messed our chaps up was they was too busy tryin' to bring orf their secret tactics. (Shall I go over here and do me card tricks to divert the Springboks while you score). - Eether that, or the 'earty breakfasts the condemned men ate at their trainin' camp. (Fair stonkered I am. Me, too.). Anyway as the dread news came thro' bit by bit I could 'ardly believe me ears. (South Africa 11 - New Zealand 3). - An' I thought for a moment the wireless must be all wrong. (South Africa 17 - New Zealand 6. It mightn't be true. 'arpo Marx - these cheap wirelesses ain't to be relied on). I came out of a daze after midnight some time, an' finds meself tryin' to put the wireless on 'alf an hour for daylight saving."
