Description: A programme for a re-enactment of scenes from English history, and the part the Army played in them. Contains photographs of groups of performers dressed as soldiers from Saxon, Norman, Crusader, Cromwellian periods and later; a group photograph of the old guard of 1790, and group photographs of "Queen Berengaria" and her maids of honour (all named), "Margaret of Anjou" and her maids (all named and including Miss Ngaio Marsh), "Queen Anne" and her maids of honour (all named), "Queen Victoria and her maids of honour (all named), "Queen Boadecia" and her maids of honour (all named).
