Kotahitanga (Manakau, N.Z)
A whare nui (meeting-house) built about 1863 at Manakau, a community south of Levin. Located opposite Waikawa River beach. Marked on a map created by George Leslie Adkin in 1948. It's purpose was to combine the Ngati Wehi Wehi people of Manakau with the Maori King movement. It was pulled down circa 1936.
Said to be built under the guidance of brothers Karehana and Reweti Te Whenua.
