Includes: - 'Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung' (28 February 1925), the cover featuring a photograph taken by Max Schirner of the Rātana band; - 'Illustrierte Kronen Zeitung' (19 May 1921), the cover image showing an illustration featuring Tahupōtiki Wiremu Rātana by Austrian illustrator Ladislaus Tuszyński; - 'Uhu' (Heft 2, November 1924), containing an article by Arthur Berger about his visit to the Waimangu Thermal Valley after the Tarawera eruption. Also includes photocopies made by Library staff of translations provided by the donor. The Rātana band toured Europe in 1924 and 1925. Title supplied by Library.
