The Run includes within its boundary part of the Norris Gulley, part of the Nelson - Motupiko Railway, the Upper Motueka Valley Road, the Motueka River, a small section of the Motupiko River, and Mount Norris. Some sections within the Run are subdivided and numbered. The numbered sections on either side of the Motueka River, coloured pink, are freehold. The boundary of the entire property, marked Run number 22, is pink. A year later he passed joint ownership to his sons Robert Young Langford and Arthur Edward Langford. Arthur became sole owner in 1880.
