Collection comprises diary, with entries dated 26 May to 25 November 1939, kept by Horace Henry Vann on voyage with his wife Alice Vann from New Zealand to England aboard the SS `Awatea' and TSS 'Jervis Bay', and a return voyage on the RMS 'Rangitata'.
