Digital files relating to Kynaston (Monty) Lyons-Montgomery's service in No.9 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, based in New Hebrides (Vanuatu) during World War Two.
Comprises: electronic scans of four pages from an aircraft log book dated between May 1955 to May 1945; electronic scans of two black and white photographs (a solo photographic portrait of Monty in his uniform, and Monty with son John Neil and a dog while on home on leave); an electronic scan of Monty's "Certificate of Discharge"; and text files containing transcribed excerpts from letters written by Monty to his wife Edna during his war service January 1942 to June 1945, and a comment written by the transcriber [probably Pam Lyons-Montgomery].
Arrangement: These files were delivered to the Library in a digital folder titled "War letters etc"
