- Description
Shows a woman who has just discovered that her stockings have laddered. Her husband is calculating the cost of buying three new pairs of stockings each week and has a worried expression on his face. In the bottom right corner are the words 'The length of time some nylons wear is absolutely shocking. It's now become a real nightmare to keep the wife in stockings.'
The words '6 Dec 1955, "Nylons", No. 183' are written in blue coloured pencil on the back of the cartoon
