The next building is a single-storeyed wooden building, Almadale Private Hotel behind a hedge. Two men and a small girl are standing in the gateway to the hotel. On the right is the Livingstone Chambers two-storeyed building, which includes the Strand Picture Theatre, Hunter's Crown Clothing and the Goodrich Service Station.

B: On the right the three-storeyed Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd (established in 1907 and built in 1918) with shops and businesses on the ground floor, including J.N. Irvine, dentist. Several cars and bicycles are parked outside the shops.
