Description

Postcard shows a cartoon of a British gentleman ("John Bull") in top hat and coat tails. He is seen from the back standing on a piece of land, and stretching out his hands to shake those of of a man standing in Canada, and another standing in Australia, with the land of New Zealand adjacent to it. The cartoon refers to the praise Britain bestowed upon its colonies for help in the first World War.
