Postcard of a funeral procession for those who lost their lives in the wreck of the 'Penguin'. Shows the procession on Ghuznee Street, Wellington, 16 February 1909. Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer.
The postcard was sent by Will Chapman to May Chapman of Kaikoura on 17 February 1909. Chapman wrote of the funeral procession, including the McGuire children, and of family matters.
