Cook Island women dancing, 6 Oct 1958, location unknown. Dancer on left is Tuteretere Mary Solomona (nee Herrmann). Photograph taken for the Evening Post newspaper of Wellington by an unidentified staff photographer. Woman in front in pale cardigan, is Tara Ama. The piano player is Tutu Ringao. The woman seated second from the right is Mama Tangi Teaia, and next to her on the far right is Tairi Taringa.
