Description

Shows a dairy farm and outbuildings on rolling country, with stands of native bush in the foreground and middle distance. A stream flows across the foreground from a waterfall at the right where a man fishes with a rod. A group of Maori on horseback pause on the bank of the stream. A little further off, stockmen on horseback drive a herd of cattle, and cattle and sheep graze further off in front of the homestead. The roofs of the outbuildings are of corrugated iron. Tree ferns, rata and nikau are scattered through the bush. In the right distance Mt Taranaki is visible.
