Shows an illustration of builders working on a row of houses in a new subdivision.
States that names of Group Builders were obtainable from the nearest State Advances Office; that loan finance was available and the purchasing procedure simplified.

The government established the Group Building Scheme in 1953. Builders constructing six or more houses were guaranteed sales to the government if the houses were unsold two months after their completion, at previously agreed prices. The agreement was conditional on government prescribed standards and so the group builders often used state plans, so that they would comply to these standards.
