Letter from Ray of Upper Hutt relating to Charlie Nicholson's `Green Islands story'; includes a photocopy of Nicholson's account of his World War II experiences in the Pacific which ended at Green Island in the Nissan Islands north of Bougainville. Nicholson has written it in the form of a letter to Bruce and blends many stories from the war, spying and post-war situations into the main narrative. He also includes personal family background material, especially relating to his wife and his RSA membership.l
