A view from the sea of a symmetrical volcanic peak, identified from the text of Ellis' Voyage, Vol. II, p. 281 'A sugarloaf hill bore S. E. by E. and a part of the land making in a kind of a cape N. E. This cape was denominated Shoal Ness by Captain Cook ...'. The volcano is now named Mount Shishaldin, located on Unimak Island in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska
On the front of a sheet of paper, containing two views. The second view, on the back is Isanotski Volcano, reference number A-264-043-2
