- Description
New Zealand High Commissioner, Sir Thomas Noble Mackenzie, standing outdoors with his son Clutha Nantes Mackenzie (in a soldier's uniform) and two unidentified people. An older man stands on the left and a woman in a military uniform on the right. Near them is a 9.2 inch howitzer on display with other World War I exhibits. May be at the time of the Lord Mayor's Show in November 1918. Photograph taken in London by Thomas Frederick Scales.

Clutha Mackenzie was blinded at Chunuk Bair in 1915. Invalided to England, he eventually edited the Chronicles of the NZEF.
