Description

Shows Muldoon holding a meat industry agreement, which has been signed by 'Jimmy' (Jimmy Carter). The next scene shows three men, two of whom are Japanese. The following scene shows one of the Japanese men holding another agreement about farm and fishing rights. The fourth scene shows Talboys addressing the Speaker in parliament. In the next scene a woman is looking in a shop window which has an advertisement for reduced food prices. The next scene shows a man in his car at a petrol station. Next scene shows two men (Employers and Union) hugging each other and in the last scene a man is jumping in glee in front of an oil well. Refers to International trade and relations with USA and Japan, tax cuts, food and petrol prices - relations betweem Employers and Unions and the oil industry.

Extended Title - In Mr Muldoon's absence. "I have decided, Mr Speaker, to increase the tax cut in the last mini budget to 50% from last February". All food prices heavily reduced. Petrol back to 1973 price - so are motorists...
