Three photographs of Maori: a hangi with a large group of men, women and children gathered round; as group of eleven women wearing very varied kakahu; and a group of adults and children outside a meeting house. Also included are two duplicate prints of the Post and Telegraph Office at Tauranga with four horses and carts outside.

Description: Shows descendants of Te Wairoa marae standing in front of the first Kahu wharenui. This wharenui was built in 1894 by Te Mete Raukawa.
