This is a collection is of letters from a letterbook of Carver to various people, businesses and periodicals. Also included are diary entries, what appears to be the draft of a newspaper report on the opening of the Ohingaiti Oddfellows Lodge and a similar report on the local school elections, requests for plants, and several communications relating to Sunday Island (Raoul Island), where Mr Carver was part of a group trying to establish a settlement.
