Description: Shows an extremely busy street scene in Dunedin. A man wearing a tam-o-shanter tells his companion that he used to get a Shiel Hill bus at this corner. He is standing beside a signpost with names like 'East 72nd Street, Iron Av., and 'Little Wall Street' on it - all names with an American flavour. Passing by are huge 'Nevis Oil' tankers and a jeep full of Americans with 'U.S. Forces Deep Freeze' on their number plate careen round the corner grinning at a pretty young woman. Description: Prime Minister Walter Nash, with his clothes ragged and patched, holds a box labelled 'family jewels' as he and Arnold Nordmeyer, Minister of Finance, beg for a loan from an American Shylock type who smiles and rubs his hands. Nash whispers to Nordmeyer that he should try to convince him that they are not in the habit of doing this sort of thing.
