Description

A folded brochure announcing Nicola, "the prince of magic", in performances of "The Astral Bride", "The throne of Delhi". Also records his jump from the Eads Bridge in St Louis, and escapes from iron fetters. Artists who toured with him included: "Na" Dolny (juggler), Whipple & Adams (female singing and dancing duo), "Dobski (clumsy clown), "Zoki" (hypnotist), Miss Marguerite Sutton (mental telepathist and psychic marvel).

Red print indicates the date on which Nicola performed at the Grand Opera House: Saturday 8 August [1911].
