American magician, son of John McNicol ("The Great Nicoli"), and brother of Charles Albert Nicol ("Von Arx", 1871-1958). The Great Nicola toured the world from 1910-1939, when the equipment for his entire show was lost in a Singapore shipwreck (Information from website www.magictricks.com).
