Photograph of a sign erected at on a hillside in Tulagi, Solomon Islands, in 1942 under the orders of Admiral Halsey. The sign reads 'Admiral Halsey says "Kill Japs, kill Japs, kill more Japs"! You will help kill the yellow bastards if you do your job well'. Photograph taken ca 1942 by an unidentified photographer.
