- Description
Captain Cook, standing centre right, being stabbed in the back by a Hawaiian man, with other sailors and Hawaiians on the land and yet more in a small boat at the water's edge. There are coconut palms beyond the group of Hawaiians and sailors, and cliffs in the background. An outrigger canoe is in the right foreground.
