Greg, Alan, Kim, and Pryor Whakataka-Brightwell, and other carvers at work on the waka Hawaiki-Nui at Porirua. So far they had worked on the project for seven months. Photographed by Evening Post staff photographer Ross Giblin on the 23 of February 1981.
