Description

Photograph album relating to World War II, chiefly taken by Charles Walter Kent-Johnston, when in the 2NZEF in Egypt.

The first part of the album shows family and friends, and various houses, none of which are identified.

The war images include scenes of Burnham Military Camp, and then shipboard travel to the East, followed by scenes in Egypt. There are numbers of group scenes of the life of soldiers on leave, and some of the everyday life of Egyptians.

The last group consists of postcards of Egyptian life.
