Description

Copies of `Chinese Terracotta soldiers', for piano. Dorothy Freed notes that "this piece was inspired by pictures of the archaeolgical excavation in a desert in China of hundreds of life-size terracotta soldiers standing in long lines leading to the tomb of an ancient emperor. They stir for a moment, dreaming of past battles, then return to their eternal sleep."
