Excerpts from diary kept by C J Wilson and his wife during a visit to Europe, 1867-1870, preceded by some description of Waikato countryside, Nelson and Wellington. The Wilson travelled to England via Panama on the SS Rakaia, and returned on the Canaan; notes re farming his property at East Tamaki.
