Contains two typed transcripts of detailed shipboard diaries written by Richard Pheney for the `Eden' 1850-1851, and by his grand daughter, Frances Pheney, for the 'Dallam Tower' 1877-1878. Both transcribed by their descendant, Rex Sinnott, in 2000; also included are obituaries for Richard Pheney and biographical notes on Frances Pheney.
