Men's and women's heads, all with hats on. One full-length figure of a man. On the left is text headed 'How to become a connoisseur' with a satirical description of art appreciation, starting with 'Sposin' its pictures thats on the carpet, wait till you hear the names of the painters ...'. The same text was reproduced in the Nelson Examiner in 1845, signed Sam Slick (A fictional Canadian character).
