Photographs taken ca 1930s-1950s by Geoffrey Perry of Wellington.

The largest groups of photographs are of amateur theatrical societies' productions. The societies involved are - Unity Theatre (Wellington). The Thespians (Wellington). The Wellington Operatic Society. A Victoria University College Extravaganza. Hutt Repertory Society. Hutt Little Theatre. Levin Little Theatre. Levin Opera Society. The Army Education and Welfare Service (AEWS). The Webby Concert Party. The Tonic Concert Party.

There are groups of photographs relating to ballet, many portraits of children and young adults in ballet costume, but also some of scenes from ballet productions and ballroom dancing.

There is a fairly large number of group wedding photographs as well as some individual portraits. Some of the portraits (eg of scouts and fashion models) are photographs for promotional material. There is a small group of photographs of female impersonators.

There is a group of five negatives of the Dorothy Davies Trio.
