Contains detailed records of the tangi of Tawhiao at Taupo in 1894, with portraits of Maori of the Taupo and Rotorua area. Sketches includes images of Maori flags and standards. Also includes watercolour studies of native flowers (1894), sketches inside a meat-processing factory, and landscape views of Auckland city.
