Davis, W H, 1812-1901

Born London 1812. Practised photography at 3 Bentinck Place, London (1856-1859), and at 10 Great Titchfield Street, London W (1860-1866). Emigrated to Wellington, practised photography at Mulgrave Street, Wellington (1866-), in the premises which had been occupied by his son, William Davis, from 1858 to 1862. Died at Oriental Bay, 8 January 1901.
