Bunkle, Phyllida (Hon), 1944-

Established Women's Studies Department at Victoria University, Wellington. Lecturer, feminist, writer and public advocate for women's health. Co-authored book with Sandra Coney (The unfortunate experiement) which led to the Cervical Cancer Inquiry. Politician (Alliance M.P. 1996-2002). After the 1999 elections she served as Minister of Customs and Minister of Consumer Affairs. She resigned in 2002.
