Description: Comprises diary of voyage to New Zealand, travelling from Gloucester, New Jersey, to Wellington, NZ, sailing first to England where they travelled widely, eventually sailing from London 1 Nov on the `Omrah' to Australia. From Sydney they sailed by the `Warrimoo' for Wellington on 14 Dec arriving 18 Dec. Mostly daily entries were made, describing the weather, the various expeditions the family made while ashore, and other aspects of shipboard life. Source of title - Transcribed Accompanying material - Correspondence and notes supplied by donor about photographs, which also came with the diary, and the Paetz family accompany the folder The family group travelling from the US to NZ comprised Joseph and Caroline Gledhill, Alfred Ross and Matilda Paetz and their daughter, Faith, who was born in Manchester Quantity: 1 folder(s) (110 leaves). 0.02 Linear Metres.
