Thompson, Ernest Heber, 1892-1971

Dunedin-born artist, mostly active as an etcher in England after the first World War. He studied at the Dunedin School of Art under A H O'Keeffe, and was awarded a war scholarship to study at the Slade School and the Royal College of Art. He was elected Associate of the Royal Society of Painters-Etchers in 1924.
