The drawings dating from 1903 have been cut out of a different sketchbook with white pages, and glued into this volume. The drawings directly on the pages of this sketchbook all date from 1904 Initially presented as the work of Nicholas Chevalier. However he died in 1902 and the sketchbook, along with E-065-1 appears to be the work of Caroline Chevalier, whose initials appear on the final page.
