Nga Puhi. Of Waipapa and Tutukaka. One of the Maori who travelled to England with interpreter William Jenkins, 1863-1864. According to the Illustrated London news, 18 July 1863, he was the son of Kau Te Awha, grandson of Te Kowhai, and great-grandson of Rangitukiwaha of Ngapuhi.
