Description: A base map of part of area of the Tekapo Military Training Area has been used to highlight four numbered proposed natural areas (P.N.A.) and a proposed reserve adjacent to lakes Alexandrina and McGregor. The second map shows an irrigated block adjacent to the Tekapo Canal, which is divided into sections and includes measurements in hectares. The base topographic map is of the area from Irishman Creek to the Glenmore - Godley Road and across to the Tekapo Canal. The Braemar Road and Fork Stream are named, the latter forming a natural boundary. Includes the sites of a plantation, paddocks and a homestead. Areas called Little Mt. John, West Lake, Upper Forks, Middle Block, DSIR Trials and Big Hill, Mackenzie District Council Domain and Tekapo township are named.
