Description: Colour transparencies of birdlife and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition and after he left the expedition to travel alone, circa Jul-Dec 1983. Set contains images of birds including flamingos (beside the anchored 'Totorore'), Inca terns, Magellanic penguings, sanderlings, surfburds, turnstones, steamer ducks, a ringed kingfisher "martin pescador" (at Pudeto), red-legged cormorant "red-foot garmardi", black vulture "Jote", black-necked ibis "bandurria", and an Andean condor. Also contains street scenes from Santiago (featuring a church, other buildings, and a market), Corcovado and Chayapiren "Pichimahuida" volcanoes, the Andes seen from a commerical airliner (on Watt's arrival"), San Vincente port, Quintupeu (in Pumalin Park), and Valparaiso seen from the water.
