Description: In `Mice march on Murchison' E.H. Muncaster tells us that he can vouch for the truth of what should be called `The great plague of mice'. It took place towards the end of 1925 when he was the teacher of a sole charge school at Horse Terrace, Upper Matakitaki Valley near Murchison. It proved too much for the cats but the native moreporks had a wonderful time.
