Description: Relief map of the area bordered by Rangitoto mountain, Waikopiro Creek and Maraeakeke Creek in the Hawke's Bay Region. Includes the boundary fences of John Johnson's property which is divided into numbered land blocks with total acreages and acreages of scrub, some of which are referred to in a key as 'green' or 'manuka'. Other land block owners are listed as Nelson and Russell. A site of a hut in Russell's property is marked. Handwritten at bottom left corner: Approved, Chief Surveyor Original map was drawn on headed paper of the General Survey Department of New Zealand. A note under this name states: Survey under section 171 of the Land Transfer Act, 1886 Handwritten not on top left corner of the original: Received at Land Transfer Survey Office 18?? Depicts J.
